Some emergency dental problems

Toothache

Take warm water to rinse your mouth. Use dental floss to remove small particles between the teeth. If your mouth has got swollen, apply cold compress to the outside of your cheek or mouth. See your 24 Hours emergency dentist immediately.

Chipped or broken teeth

Save your broken teeth and rinse mouth with warm water. In case there is excessive bleeding, apply a piece of gauge on the affected area for nearly 10 minutes till bleeding stops. Apply a cold compress on the outer part of lips, mouth or check near chipped teeth to ease the pain and discomfort.

Knocked out tooth

Retrieve tooth and hold it by the crown. If the tooth root is unclean, try to rinse off with water. Fix the tooth back to its original place. Keep tooth in a milk container to save it till you visit a dentist.

Dislodged tooth

Apply cold compress at the outside of your check or mouth on the affected area to relieve the discomfort till you see a dentist. Try to take over-the-counter pain reliever, in case it is really needed.

Dental abscess

Visit your dentist when you find pimple-like swelling on the gums that are painful. Take salt water solution to rinse your mouth several times in a day to eliminate the pain.
